SECURITY / LOCAL DATA PROCESSING
Data & Hash toolbox
Calculate SHA-256, SHA-512 or MD5 checksums, convert Base64 and HEX, format JSON or inspect JWT claims. Data is processed in this browser and is not submitted to a server.

How to use the toolbox
Select an operation and enter text. For a checksum, you can select a local file instead. Process the data, inspect the result type and copy its exact value. Text is encoded as UTF-8; files use their original bytes. JSON formatting rejects unsafe large integers, decimal rounding and underflow. Quote precise values to preserve them. Formatted JSON and decoded JWT output are limited to 4 MiB of UTF-8 data before formatting; deeply nested JSON may need the minify operation. Long results scroll within their result panel.
MD5 is provided for compatibility checksums. Use SHA-256/512 when a modern digest is required. JWT decoding displays header and claims as untrusted data; it does not validate a signature or authorize access. Expiration and not-before labels only compare numeric dates with your browser’s clock.
